Academy of Fine Arts & Dance, LLC
Dear Parents and Performers,
We wish you each a happy May! We are looking
forward to a stunning production of Cinderella with lavish scenery,
beautiful backdrops and exciting special effects. Our faculty has
been hard at work preparing dances, teaching each piece and
staging this exciting production! This will be the FINEST end
of the season production in Florida!
Cinderella will be presented
June 13 at 7:30-9:00PM-Saturday-at The James B. White Performing Arts
Center in Clearwater (located on the Campus of Clearwater Central
Catholic High School).
The Cinderella Rehearsal Schedule is still posted
online at RAFAFL.com
(thank you to Melissa Diaz). The performers are so
excited to show all their family and friends this incredible
production! We are looking forward to an exciting experience for
each performer.
Attached are Patron Packages
with a variety of different options to support Cinderella expenses-they
begin at just $50 and we need your support to pay for the materials
to build the Grand Ballroom Staircase, Giant Cheese Wedges
on wheels, funds to support our Guest Artist expenses, to pay for
Cinderella's Carriage etc. We are still need additional family
support-both in Patrons and Volunteers-so that we can purchase the
trophies for the end of the season award ceremony.
Patron Packages range from just $50 and up and
tickets are on sale now. We need volunteers to help with Ticket
Sales this week and next week-please see Miss Lisa if you are willing to
help.

for their loyalty and caring to the high standards that we have
at The Royal Academy-you are a blessing to all of our performers and
their families. I would like to welcome Miss Amy on board.
She is a Dance Major at The University of South Florida and studies under
one of my former teachers. Miss Amy is an extremely strong
technical teacher in Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop and
Pointe. Additionally, she is a talented choreographer and is
bringing a lot to Cinderella-we are thrilled to have her as part of our
team!
Thank you to all of our parents
for bringing their children to class each week and for supporting your
children during these difficult economic times. We will get through
these tough times and things will get easier! We, at The Royal
Academy, are giving your children more than just voice, dance and
acting lessons. We are teaching EACH
STUDENT how to strive to be the best, to overcome adversity and to
aim high!
Memorial Day Weekend-Yes, we will be closed the weekend of
Memorial Day through the Monday and then beginning Rehearsal Schedule for
the first 2 weeks of June. Rehearsal Schedule will be out next
week.
Summer Workshops, Camps and Extreme Intensives-we
have THE FINEST SUMMER PROGRAM IN THE TAMPA BAY AREA and it's first come,
first serve. Prices for RAFA members
begin at $99 and go up. Prices for Non RAFA members are
higher. We are cutting our first CD this summer and will be
presenting a performance with trophies at the end of each week. A
$50 deposit can reserve your child's place.
Props-The Cinderella Prop List
was posted by Miss Lisa last week. Thank you to those of you who
donated/loaned props. We still need a few more things for
Cinderella-please turn in all props to Miss Lisa on or before May
22. THANK YOU!
